We all know that bakery-themed meme by now, and yes, while most of us consider it to be a tired trope that needs to die in a fire for being overused, the Cake Is - and always will be - A Lie.

Nobody expected GLaDOS to deliver on her promise of a tasty treat for forcing Chell to traverse Aperture Science's death-defying portal course, but we all soldiered on, none the less.

The real reward for jumping through all those portals and escaping from GLaDOS' clutches wasn't a freshly baked treat, but a musical number sung by none other than the the robot herself. Who knew a voice synthesizer could make such wonderful music?
