6 & 7. The Vaudevillains/Wario & Waluigi (Super Mario Franchise)
Wario is the shorter, Waluigi the taller, moustache-twirling villains of the old school. These partners in crime are often seen as comic relief, which would be a mistake - theyre vicious, aggressive opponents, quick to taunt and humiliate their enemies. Wario is the more hot tempered antagonist, while Waluigi is vain and a poor sport. The Vaudevillains had a run as babyfaces last year, but theyre much better suited to the heel role theyve recently resumed. Their gimmick is pure Dick Dastardly, or the Hooded Claw: cartoon villains, the kind who would tie a babyface to the railroad tracks as soon as look at him.
