4. Star Wars: Outlaws

For those of you expecting Star Wars: Outlaws to follow the traditional Ubisoft open world formula, this is not the game you're looking for.

Ubisoft's upcoming scoundrel-'em-up sees the company breaking from their traditional mold to create an adventure worthy of the space-smuggler fantasy every Star Wars fan has imagined since Han Shot First. As well as the expected stealth sections and action set-pieces, Outlaws will allow the player to fly through space and engage in classic Star Wars dogfight action, and there's even a sprinkling of Mass Effect in the game's DNA with the promise of consequence-laden dialogue choices.

Ubisoft are concocting a heady brew here, and if they manage to get each ingredient just right then expect Outlaws to reach - and possibly surpass - the high bar set by 2023's Jedi: Survivor.
