12. The Outer Worlds 2

Avowed isn't the only RPG Obsidian will release in 2025 - they're also due to drop their sci-fi RPG sequel The Outer Worlds 2. 

Though the first game wasn't quite a home run, its oddball personality and inviting locales made it a cult fave all the same, and this sequel will provide Obsidian with a ripe opportunity to hopefully improve on its solid predecessor.

Hilariously, the gameplay reveal trailer even promises, in suitably tongue-in-cheek fashion, that the game will feature "everything that should've been in the first game." Here's hoping.

For anyone still reeling from the disappointment of Starfield, The Outer Worlds 2 will hopefully show Bethesda how it's done.
