20. Resident Evil Requiem
Resident Evil Requiem Release Date: February 27, 2026
Capcom's follow-up to Resident Evil Village will introduce players to a new protagonist, FBI agent Grace Ashcroft, the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft, who was a playable character in 2003's Resident Evil Outbreak.
Grace will investigate a host of deaths at Raccoon City's Wrenwood Hotel where her mother died years prior, and will find herself pursued by a relentless stalker monster not unlike Mr. X and Lady Dimitrescu from previous Resident Evil games.
The big gameplay change-up this time, however, is that players can freely swap between first and third-person perspectives, rather than being forced to play in first-person as in the two previous games.
There's still so much we don't know about Requiem, though the tease of being able to explore a post-apocalyptic Raccoon City and rumours about Leon Kennedy being a second playable character will certainly keep fans talking.
Considering how successfully the series has been revitalised since Resident Evil 7, it's easy to have full faith in Capcom here.
