The Hype: Though The Frozen Wilds is technically a DLC expansion for Horizon Zero Dawn, Guerrilla Games has promised that it will be a "beefy" addition to the universally-acclaimed action game, with a chilly new map and array of never-before-seen beasts to encounter.

It's easy to be hyped about this DLC considering that the original game was such a well-crafted experience in every way, and there's little impression that this section was carved out of the game to be sold to fans later.

If you even remotely enjoyed Horizon (which, let's face it, you almost certainly did), this seems like an irresistible proposition, and even if it ultimately adds just a few hours of story-driven gameplay, anything that expands Aloy's journey is very much welcome.
