7. Call of Duty: Black Ops II

As someone who€™s pretty apathetic when it comes to the modern Call of Duty games, I must admit that I was super impressed with the second Black Ops outing. It€™s certainly a lot better than the glorified expansion pack everyone and their uncle twice removed shelled out 60 dollars for back in November 2011. But enough lazy comparisons. Black Ops II is an exceedingly competent shooter that€™s bolstered by its Strike Force missions and branching storyline all whilst showcasing the series€™ hallmark cinematic flair. Top that off with the series€™ first truly worthwhile villain, and this is the best Call of Duty since the original Modern Warfare.
