9. Gore And Dismemberment

While GTA is a highly controversial franchise that has had people clutching their pearls since its inception, it's fair to say it hasn't been particularly gruesome for some time now. Sure, you're given the means to blast people away like it's nobody's business, and it very much leans into the heavy violence that comes with being a criminal. Still, it's surprisingly rare to see intense amounts of blood or missing limbs in the more recent games - that torture scene aside. 

But don't get comfortable with that idea, as rumours suggest GTA VI will be bringing a touch of bloody brutality back into the fray. 

This leak claims that the game will be building off of the gore and dismemberment mechanics of RDR2, which features realistic blood splatters, the ability to shoot off limbs, and more. With that in mind, it seems that players will get a healthy dose of realistic violence, upping the brutality and potentially landing the game as the most violent in the franchise's history. 

If you don't like blood and guts, then GTA VI might be a bit much for you.
