The Image: One of The Walking Dead's protagonists, young Clementine, sitting down shortly after departing from her father figure Lee, either by killing him or leaving him to become a walker (depending on the choice the player makes). Why It's Powerful: Even on its own, this is a beautiful image, but as a part of the game, it's a tear-inducingly powerful moment, considering how protective the player has likely become over Clementine, and seeing her on her own after leaving Lee is an emotional gut-punch for sure. That this was one of the final images we saw of Clementine as Season One came to a close only made us even more exhausted and distraught: would Clementine be alright? Thankfully she has been so far, but the sheer anxiety of waiting for Season Two was almost too much.
