20. Grand Theft Auto V On PC Is Another Crappy Rockstar Port
Release Date: April 14 The Hype: The long-awaited PC port of 2013's outstanding entry into the Grand Theft Auto franchise. This version won't just include the first-person mode and enhanced graphics in excess of the next-gen re-release, but will also feature a PC-exclusive video editor mode just as was bundled with Grand Theft Auto IV when it was finally ported from consoles. If you've got a PC meaty enough, this should be the definitive way to play GTA V. Why It Might Suck: As much as everyone wants this to be a good port, Rockstar has a pretty sketchy track record with PC versions of its games: both GTA IV and L.A. Noire ran like hot garbage on the PC due to poor optimisation, meaning you needed a far more beastly rig than you really should have to play the games half-way decently. Hopefully the lengthy development cycle of this port will mean that GTA V plays more smoothly, though history isn't exactly on the developer's side.
