And its latest entry is just about to come out of early access, so it’s only going to get better!

Anyone who has been a part of the gaming scene in the last few years has heard about Hades, the isometric dungeon crawler roguelike that maxed out all review scores back in 2020. Its sequel has since been in early access, with plans to be released on September 25, 2025. Now that it's officially out, the game has already been bombarded with positive reviews, as it offers more than any modern AAA dungeon crawler on the market.

Hades II is pretty much a better version of its beloved predecessor in every way. It’s more challenging, more polished, and has almost double the amount of content.

If you loved the first Hades, you will go head over heels for its sequel. It’s unequivocally the best single-player experience you can have in 2025, for a price that will really make you question if going AAA is really worth it.
