20 Ridiculously Low Game Ratings You Won’t Believe

1. Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory: 55

There is something very sad going on here. The highest scoring game in the Neptunia franchise is Re;Birth1 on the PC at 72. The main releases on the PS3 score abysmally. The first is rated at the criminally wrong score of 45, while Neptunia mk2 scored a woefully low 53. Victory, the focus of this entry, managed a 54. The handheld games and other PC ports are by and large unable to penetrate a 70. Of course, they tend to rank higher on the user score. Neptunia Victory is the last installment released on the PS3. It€™s also the most refined of the trilogy. It€™s true that the first Neptunia was somewhat awkward, but it wasn€™t a bad game at all. To the contrary, it€™s a very nice game for any JRPG fan with a PS3. However, Neptunia Victory is perhaps one of the finest RPG€™s on the console. The battles are always fun, as you can position characters in a 360 degree area. No random enemy encounters either - yet the critics have panned it for being €œrepetitive€ again. Of course, the user score is higher. A 7.8 in fact. This is most likely because the user reviews are given by people who aren€™t offended by pastel anime girls making off-colour jokes. It's a known fact that many game reviewers will hand out negative scores just because they don€™t like a type of game, and for this reason that Metacritic is a flawed site, with Neptunia Victory€™s poor scores being the perfect example.
