20 Stunning Open World Game Areas That Left You SPEECHLESS
6. Corpo Plaza (Cyberpunk 2077)
Okay, let's make one thing perfectly clear - Night City's corporate overlords are absolute scum. You can just feel the disturbing obsession with capital, corporate interests, and lack of empathy radiating off every damn suit in this city. That said, holy hell, Corpo Plaza is an absolute marvel. Why did this overwhelming testament to greed have to look so damn cool?
It's no secret that Cyberpunk 2077's release was troubled, to say the least. But, years on, the game has managed to slowly, but surely, become the ambitious title it aimed to be. Night City, the game's central setting, shows that, as it's an unbelievably dense location dripping with distinct cultural identities. Corpo Plaza, the sub-district within the city centre, is perhaps the most impressive of all.
This area is a labyrinth of skyscrapers, with hints of nature dotted around the shiny, futuristic architecture. Of course, the absolute crown in its cap is Memorial Park, the extravagant centre featuring two enormous koi fish holograms swimming in opposition to each other. But, while the grand visuals are incredible, there's plenty to admire in the small details as well, as every inch of this location is depicted with high fidelity and care.
