Though it launched in a less-than-stellar state, Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most beloved and successful video games of the 2020s so far - a visually stunning deep-dish sci-fi RPG that's sold more than 40 million copies to date.

In October 2022, developer CD Projekt Red confirmed that Cyberpunk 2 was in the early stages of development, later confirming that it will be developed using cutting edge Unreal Engine 5 tech.

Whether it's a direct follow-up the original game or a standalone sequel remains to be seen, but considering that Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most immersive video games released this side of Rockstar's own Red Dead Redemption 2, it stands to reason that Cyberpunk 2 is one of the few upcoming games whose rich detail can possibly hold a candle to GTA VI.
