20 Video Game Enemies Designed To RUIN Your Day

6. Cliffracers - The Elder Scrolls III - Morrowind

Whilst it may have been overshadowed by the games that followed, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind was a real landmark in the history of video games. Sure, there'd been large scale 3D fantasy RPGs before but Morrowind raised the bar by providing a huge, feature and content rich world full of colourful characters, numerous quests and a true sense of immersion that nothing else at the time could compete with.

Those who played it back in the day will have so many great memories attached to this title, but similarly there will also be the lingering memory of the Cliff Racers.

For those who aren't familiar, the Cliff Racers are a hyper-aggressive flying creature that are most often found near cliffs - go figure - and love nothing more than attacking players when they're least expecting it. Once the initial shock of the surprise attack has worn off, they can be quite difficult to take down if you're solely repping melee, but the real reason why they're so infamous amongst Elder Scrolls fans is how unyielding they are when it comes to chasing you down.

These things will follow you for what feels like an eternity, never letting up in their pursuit. Best to avoid if you can.
