20. Zubat - Pokemon Series

Chances are, you heard the signature screech of these annoying gits the second you saw the picture of them. 

Debuting all the way back in 1996, the Pokémon series became a near-instant global success with the now iconic Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow games capturing the hearts of millions of children worldwide. To this day, people still reminisce over their first journey across the Kanto region, although there's one collective memory that still boils the blood of many a Pokémon trainer.

Upon entering the caves of Mt. Moon, you'll almost immediately come across a Zubat. Then another, then another and then another. The caves are quite literally swarming with the things, and whilst they're not the strongest Pokemon out there, their large numbers, screechy entrance and overzealous use of Supersonic will soon have you contemplating which wall you'd like to redecorate with your Game Boy Colour. 

Supersonic is especially annoying as it has a fairly high-chance of confusing your Pokemon, which in turn can lead to them unintentionally attacking themselves, leaving Zubat to watch on in delight as it whittles away at your best Pokemon's health pool. 

Best to use some Repel for your next jaunt through the caves.
