20 Video Game NPCs You CAN'T Afford To Lose
20. Survivors - No, I Am Not A Human
0No, I Am Not Human is an indie horror game that takes place in a post-apocalyptic reality where sunlight has become deadly and the world is filled with mysterious “visitors” who pretend to be people.
The gameplay consists of receiving guests at your safehouse and either letting them stay at your place or turning them away. Considering that they all could turn out to be visitors and secretly kill you when they’re inside, you might wonder if there is any benefit in keeping them around.
The short answer is yes, although it’s not really because they provide any bonuses or special service. You can’t afford to turn them away because of the Pale Visitor.
The Pale Visitor is a creepy malformed man who appears at your doorstep every few nights. He always insists on making you follow him, and if you refuse, he threatens to enter your house and take you by force, but only if you live alone.
Unless you want to be snatched by the Pale Visitor and get a rather gruesome game over, you want to keep as many human survivors as possible.
They may not be useful, and some of them might turn out to be visitors in disguise, but they’re your only key to survival.
