8. Lady Dimitrescu - Resident Evil Village

You just know that while Capcom was celebrating how enthusiastically the Resident Evil fanbase embraced the character of Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village, they were also cursing themselves for not giving her a more substantial role.

Despite her prominent place in the game's marketing - in an understandable attempt to lean into the "step on me mommy" of it all - the viral giantess actually has a maddeningly small part early in the game before being killed off.

It's a crying shame considering that Lady D certainly had the looks, the charisma, and the overall presence to be the game's overarching villain, so for her to end up such a passing attraction felt like a massive wasted opportunity.

Compared to her, Karl Heisenberg doesn't quite cut it, sadly.

It goes without saying that Lady Dimitrescu could've been one hell of a recurring Resident Evil baddie, rather than getting tossed out with the bathwater after such a fleeting stint.
