If there was anything that could've perked up Nintendo's conference considering the fact they already appear to have lost enthusiasm for the Wii U, it would've been an unveiling of the Nintendo NX platform. However, Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Amie announced during the company's digital event that fans would have to wait a little longer, as it was being held until 2016 for a reveal. It's already known that the platform will deviate significantly from the formula of the previous two Nintendo consoles, with many suspecting they may be turning their attention towards smartphone technology, but it seems that the console's unveiling will likely wait until next year's E3. Will Nintendo return with a proper, fully-fledged conference, or will it be shown off in another digital event? Wait and see.
