You knew it was coming. After all, its not Sarah that graces the cover of The Last of Us. It is plain as day where the prologue is heading, and yet when it comes time for Joel to watch his daughters life slip through his fingers you cant help but get misty eyed.The fact that Naughty Dog was able to get players attached to Sarah so quickly is a testament to both their excellent storytelling and performances of the actors, who sell this scene for all its worth. Its so understated that it feels real. Put this scene in front of anyone and they are guaranteed to tear up.
