24. Twisting A Full 360 Degrees While Dive-Shooting - Max Payne

From his name to his tactical approach, Max Payne's debut was anything but subtle. Who needed a crouch button when you could blast an entire room full of faces in one Matrix-dive? The closest thing to stealth in this series was NOT trigger pumping through the air in slow-motion, but most of us decided against that and went for the all-action approach.

23. Leaping From Agros' Back And Hanging On For Dear Life - Shadow Of The Colossus

Like Link before him, Shadow of the Colossus' Wander also depended on a loyal horse companion during his epic mission of murder. Unlike Epona, however, Agro's control systems granted players a wider range of combat and platforming functionality: you could stand on his saddle, ride him like a circus performer and even leverage Wander's jumping ability, a skill you were never formally taught, but one that became entirely necessary during latter boss fights.

22. Opening Crates Like A Scientist - Half-Life

Half-Life may not count as proper crowbar training, but splintered wood flying every which way entirely made up for that fact. RIP, every crate we saw.
