In Resident Evil 2, wearing his police uniform emblazoned with the letters R.P.D, Leon Kennedy says to Ada Wong I don't think I've introduced myself. My name's Leon; I'm with the RPD. Unsurprisingly, Ada reacts completely blankly, shrugging her shoulders and probably wondering why Leon felt the need to further advertise his profession.
