30 Awesome Reasons To Stay Alive In 2015

2. Rise Of The Tomb Raider (Q4)

After last year's Tomb Raider reboot released to ecstatic reviews and commercial success, it was little surprise that Crystal Dynamics pressed on quickly with a follow-up, rather clunkily titled Rise of the Tomb Raider. Still, the first trailer promised that again the new series would focus on Lara's psychological state as she matures into the title character she is known and loved as. No gameplay footage has been shown off yet, but as long as the developer sticks to the Uncharted-esque mechanics that made the first game such a thrill, then it's tough to see how they could go wrong. As long as there's more actual tomb raiding this time, and a diverse host of locations, this could be one of 2015's great pleasures. It's a shame, however, that the game has been nabbed by Microsoft as a (presumably timed) console exclusive for Xbox One and Xbox 360, with PS3, PS4 and PC releases likely coming a substantial amount of time later.
