While the Arkham Origins Batwing does look a lot more like a plane, its front end does bear more than a passing resemblance to Nolan's... hanging spider hovercraft thingy... The Bat. The cockpit in particular is pretty much a carbon copy of Batman's aircraft in The Dark Knight Rises it has that suburban, back garden conservatory vibe going on. And notice how Batman is sitting in the Batwing? That's right, like he's riding the Batpod.
