Video games are awesome, we all know that. They allow us to escape the dreariness of so called real life (except The Sims obviously) and become someone else for a little while. But what defines video games, alongside awe inspiring shots of things blowing up, are the characters within. Most of the time the hero or main protagonist is the one we love the most, Master Chief, Commander Shepherd, Mario etc. But sometimes perhaps it is the lesser characters, the supporting cast, good and bad that makes a game truly stand out and come to life. This article contains a selection of our favourites in a non-specific order: *Warning the following article contains the occasional spoiler marked thusly *SPOILERS* so be on guard. If you havent played these games and think you might, bear in mind that we dont have those flashy things from Men in Black so if you read it, youre screwed forever!
40. KK Slider Animal Crossing Series
Not one you expect to open up a list like this? Well, we put it to you, who doesnt love a guitar playing dog? Relaxed but passionate about his music and only really interested in keeping the world entertained by song and that is a noble goal in our opinion. Nothing like our dog, our dog just wants food and somewhere to excrete said food. Those industry fat cats try to put a price on my music, but it wants to be free a rare sentiment in these capitalist times and perhaps a single handed justification for piracyno? No? Damn it.
39. Reaver Fable 2 and 3
Ok, hes voiced by Steven Fry, which sort of defines awesomeness instantly, but apart from that hes a mal-adjusted, top hat wearing pistol shooting mad man. He is deadly with that pistol and loves to show off his skills. Super confident, over bearing and blessed with immortality to boot. He betrays the lead character twice. Sexually inappropriate, egotistical, narcissistic and would kill you soon as look at you, you peasant! And those are just some of the reasons why we love the guy. Click "next" below for part 2...
