5 HD Gaming Collections That Should Be Released

4. Grand Theft Auto

All three PS2 Grand Theft Auto games (GTA3, Vice City, San Andreas) have been released on the Playstation Store and Xbox Live Arcade over the past few months. These are merely just ports of the originals, however, and are highly overpriced to boot. Grand Theft Auto IV had many highlights €“ great graphics and online play amongst them, but there are many who felt a little underwhelmed by both its scope and setting, given that it featured comparatively little to do (bar storyline missions) in comparison to its predecessors, and contained only a handful of interesting characters within its modern day setting. It€™s still an excellent game and well-worth playing, but it just felt (to me at least) that something was missing from the PS2 era games. GTA3 hasn€™t aged particularly well, but without it, we€™d never have Vice City and San Andreas, two defining games of the early 2000s with an abundance of content and larger than life characters, as well as excellent settings, storylines, soundtracks and voice talent. With the release of Grand Theft Auto V on the horizon, what better way to enhance the anticipation of the gaming community than a HD collection of the series€™ finest entries? The PS3 trilogy of Grand Theft Auto titles are still as beloved as they were several years ago, and are more than deserving of a second lease of life.
