4. Bayonetta

Sega Nintendo

Bayonetta is a stylish, fast-paced, gloriously pretty action game with a myriad of different combos, events, finishers, executions and torture attacks, similar to Devil May Cry. To put it simply, the game is a little bit “out there”, featuring the scantily-clad witch attempting to recover a powerful artifact that presumably holds the key to her missing memory.

As you are waiting to load into each level, the game gives you a nice little safe area where you can run around and practise your combos. Not only does this pass the time, but in a game where move execution is key, it allows you to prepare for the upcoming battles.

You’ll almost be wishing the loading times were longer! It’s a perfect way to kill some boredom while you wait to kill some enemies.
