Much like the open world suggestion, an adaptive plot would create a great game experience. Let's say I need to chase a target down in London before his flight to Tokyo leaves. If I get there in time, the story moves forward. If he leaves before I catch him, then I need to chase him through Tokyo to progress the story. A plot that doesn't just stop and reset upon failure would not only help bring Bond out of the dark ages, but a design innovation never before seen in any game.
