10. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II (1997) - Windows

This first-person shooter follows Kyle Katarn, in his mission to hunt the Dark Jedi that killed his father, Jedi Knight is a vast improve over its predecessor. And also uses live acting and sets in its cutscenes, in the same vein as Rebel Assault II. The missions in this game are still tough and entertaining, the story is so good! It also has one of the best Dark side endings in any game, see above.

9. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (2003) - Windows, Mac, Xbox

Powered by an improved Quake III Arena engine, this sequel to Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast is a landmark game. It features full lightsaber combat and a host of character modifications, including the character's gender and appearance, and can construct a lightsaber by choosing the hilt style and blade colour. The player takes control of the character Jaden Korr, a student at the Jedi Academy under the tutelage of Kyle Katarn. The player must complete various missions assigned to them by Kyle Katarn and Luke Skywalker. This opens up the fabled Jedi Academy like never before.

8. Star Wars Republic Commando (2005) - Windows, Xbox

Star Wars: Republic Commando is a FPS squad-based combat game where you play as a highly trained clone trooper and assist in multiple small operations missions such as sabotage and ambush attacks based during the Clone Wars. This is an interesting interpretation of the Clone War Conflicts, that are hinted and shown a little in the prequels. The look of this game is taken from a gritty and realistic take on the world shown in Attack of the Clones.

7. TIE Fighter (1994) - DOS, Macintosh

Star Wars: TIE Fighter, a 1994 space flight simulator/space combat computer game, is the sequel to Star Wars: X-Wing, and the first game of the series that puts the player on the side of the Galactic Empire. A notable improvement in TIE Fighter is the flight engine. TIE Fighter is regarded by many as the best title in the series and one of the most successful space flight simulator games.

6. Star Wars: Shadows Of The Empire (1996) - Nintendo 64

This 1996 third-person shooter video game, developed by LucasArts was one of the first games made available for the Nintendo 64. Shadows of the Empire was the third top-selling Nintendo 64 game for 1997. In the game, the player controls the mercenary Dash Rendar in his efforts to help Luke Skywalker and rescue Princess Leia from Prince Xizor's hands. It fills in the gaps between Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. The subject of the novel of the same name, this one will please all SWEU fans.
