7 Major Worries About The Nintendo Switch

4. Pricing Is MADNESS

As Nintendo opened their conference by announcing the gut-punch that was a $300 price tag, I could've got behind it, had they backed up the machine with solid reasoning every step of the way. Instead, people are wondering just what is worth so much money - especially seeing as you can pick up a PS4 or an Xbox One for far cheaper.

Not only that, but the cost to purchase additional or replacement Joycon controllers is actual madness. $80 for a bundle of two, or $50 per controller, and remember, these things are about the size of your palm, if that.

The Pro Controller - something that doesn't come in the box, and the Switch doesn't support the Wii U version either - is also $70, again more than the PS4 and Xbox standalone controllers.

Even the plastic wheels that some people like to play Mario Kart with are $20 a piece. It's borderline ludicrous.
