4. Eggmans Dreamcast - Sonic Unleashed

Do you ever wonder to yourself how the cast and crew of the Sonic universe spend their downtime? For Sonic himself it's clear that he fills his spare time racing his friends, dropping in to smash a few other well known video game mascots into the dirt and of course attending the Olympics and bizarrely not running as fast as we all know he should be, but what about Dr. Eggman?

Sure we could say that he spends most of his time concocting new nefarious robots to use on Sonic and the rest of the world, but by this point he's surely got to have a lot of this process automated itself, meaning he's probably got a fair few hours to kill.

Well thanks to Sonic Unleashed we might actually get a glimpse into his personal life as in two separate scenes, for a brief moment apiece, you can see him standing next to a Dreamcast console and controller!

In both his little eggy spaceship and inside the cockpit of a bigger machine, you can spot the console just behind him.

Hilariously this isn't just a loving reference to the good old days for SEGA, but also implies he's cranking through a few rounds of House Of The Dead just before he's called to action by Sonic and his friends.
