8. Jack Baker

Patriarch of the Baker family, Jack has featured heavily in pre-release images and footage for Resident Evil 7.

In gameplay videos, as seen above, Jack is an unrelenting force that stalks the player. He's not exactly fast, but his menacing taunts and shouts, as well as the fact that obstacles such as walls, doors, and furniture barely seem to slow him down, means that once he's spotted you, there's going to be a frantic struggle to get away.

Frantic cat-and-mouse gameplay will see us doing all we can to stay out of his reach, or his shovel's range.

Add to this the fact that he seems to be immune to damage (able to take gunshots to the head and laugh it off) and you have an enemy that's both full of hatred and unstoppable.

Not the best situation to find yourself in during a desperate bid for survival.
