8 Embarrassing Video Game TV Adaptations You Won't Believe Got Made
1. Captain N: The Game Master
And so we end on an entry that held probably the most promise out of all of these other projects combined. Captain N: The Game Master was a series that sought to collect some of Nintendo's greatest heroes all together, united as one, to take on some of the greatest enemies ever to plague a home entertainment system.
Yet this is easily one of the most disappointing reunions ever. Whoever was in charge of the character designs of this series clearly worked for SEGA, as they are presented with so much disdain for their source material that it's insulting. Simon Belmont is now a super tanned idiot jock with brainpower rivalling a wall turkey, Kid Icarus screeches his way through puberty with every line that comes out of his mouth and Mega Man? Well, just look up the footage of what Capcom did to him in Street Fighter X Tekken and this is STILL worse, as for some reason he constantly spouts out "mega" before each line and sounds like he's been gargling nails.
I hate everything about this show, from its aggressively annoying characters to the fact that it pulls The Legend Of Zelda cast back for one more reunion which no one was asking for. Its one saving grace, which comes in the form of Mother Brain, is so bizarrely ugly that I can't look at it long enough to enjoy the over the top line delivery. This game is a captain of No-one and you should avoid it at all costs.
