A shining beacon for good in Bioware's 2010s output, Star Wars: The Old Republic is an MMO behemoth with a dedicated fanbase to this day. Phenomenal cutscenes, great characters, awesome dialogue options and enjoyable tactile combat, Bioware like to keep things fresh with a variety of timed live events.
Taking place across a few weeks and refreshing each month, you've got everything from competitive Swoop Racing to infestations of creatures on certain planets, bounties that need hunting, relics to collect, pirates to defend against and everything in between.
You're not supposed to get to everything, and SW:TOR encourages players to complete their respective stories and associated quests, before venturing off into truly optional territory.
All in all, while there are better dedicated MMOs out there, The Old Republic does a great job of giving you a thriving galaxy of Star Wars-themed content, along with a class-specific path you'll carve through the cosmos.
