Bad performance is only something you notice when it crops up, which is why it's worth pointing out when a game doesn't need to be remarked on for bad performance.

Ratchet & Clank is one of the only titles I've played this generation where I haven't encountered a single issue. No framerate drops, no buggy animations overlapping with one another, no NPCs getting stuck in anything - not a thing.

It looks gorgeous and plays it, too. Insomniac have always been a solid studio when it came to cracking out titles that make the most of their hardware, but even they have outdone themselves here.
