8 Video Games You Didn't Realise Were Set At Christmas
8. Tattletail
Two years after the stonking success of Five Nights at Freddy's, this incredibly creepy survival horror from Waygetter Electronics found its way to Steam. Following in similar footsteps to the aforementioned FNAF, Tattletail also takes place over the course of five nights, except they're all in the lead up to Christmas.
The story follows you the player as you naughtily open a Christmas present early on 20th December. Inside the present is a brand spanking new toy called Baby Talking Tattletail, which looks so horribly similar to a Furby, it's a miracle they haven't been sued.
After the reveal of the toy, things get weird. Each night going forward you'll need to complete a series of objectives, whilst doing your best to keep your new toy from making too much noise. Why? Because if you don't, then Mama Tattletail will come and get you.
Though it's a game for adults, the legend of Mama Tattletail could and should be used as a story to teach your kids why you should never open presents before Christmas.
