2. That Race - Mafia
Fiction based around the Mafia is exciting to get lost in. You get real human stories and while the events get outlandish, it must be remembered that a lot of it is based around real events.
This is why a lot of Scorsese’s pictures hit and The Sopranos takes everyone by storm to this very day. That show is still regarded as one of, if not the greatest shows of all time. Just ask your Uncle Paulie.
So this is why The Mafia games work, even though the gameplay and events unfolding can feel a little simple at first. As we all know by now, the climb to the top means there will surely be that fall from grace to the bottom. Sadly for this game, that was almost ruined with a forced racing section that controls like utter garbage.
Worst part is, you have to play it and there is no escape. If this were a Sopranos game, there’d be an option for Tony to just get some ice cream and ignore it.
