5. Making Rey And Kylo's The Last Jedi Costumes Pre-Order Content Only

EA

You've got the biggest movie of the year, from the biggest property in entertainment history, and you're creating tie-in content that's going to let millions of fans play as their favourite characters, post-viewing.

So what do EA do? Resign both Rey and Kylo Ren's Episode VIII costumes to a pre order-only "bonus".

Again, it's straight business needs over good fan service, but at the very least you'd expect some sort of "pre-order to get them now, others can wait"-style setup to please everyone. Doing anything else is such a hollow, translucent business move, and we immediately saw right through it.

As it stands, these two sought-after costumes are only used by a select few players online, and though they might free up over time (nearly every "limited edition" piece of content always does), right now, one of the biggest reasons to invest in the game isn't going to be available with the movie.

Lame.
