5. Aisha Tyler Forcing An Ubisoft Rep To Come Up With Meme
Aisha Tyler (of Archer and Friends fame) has felt like a breath of fresh air at video game expos over the past few years. Despite being a spokesperson for Ubisoft, she avoids marketing spiel, talks frankly and doesn't mind being a bit self-deprecating at times. Definitely a step up from the dreaded Mr Caffeine, that's for sure. But even a seasoned presenter like Ms. Tyler is prone to the occasional cock-up. A case in point is E3 2015, when she begins harassing a painfully shy Ubisoft rep (who was clearly bribed a lot by the company to dress up as AC: Syndicate hero Jacob Frye, because he clearly hates the attention). Still, at least he actually came up with something. In the cringe-inducing climax of the video, he pointed his finger and said "Engage" a la Captain Picard. It's not gone viral yet, but maybe this meme is one of those slow burners that'll go big in 2016. Watch this space.
