9 TERRIFYING Horror Games Still Coming In 2020

On the topic of searching for missing children, Unholy is another game dropping this year about a parent's search for their missing daughter, who's vanished in the worst place imaginable. Unlike Someday You'll Return though, Unholy is much more fire and brimstone in terms of its horrific visuals, with many critics highlighting its similarities to Agony, a pretty terrible horror game that released a few years ago.

Hopefully this is much better than that, and even a quick look at the trailer, with its unnatural landscape and silhouetted enemies, shows promise. It kind of looks like if you mashed The VVitch together with Doom: Eternal.

Like a lot of games, there's going to be a sanity mechanic that will alter the experience depending on how twisted your character becomes by what they're seeing. It's been pushed back a few times now - initially pencilled in for 2019 - but the pre-release trailers alone make it one to keep an eye on.
