9. Secret Bombs In Your Inventory - Metal Gear Solid

His titles are filled with fourth wall breaks, characters totally breaking tone, secret gameplay tricks included to make you laugh, and everything in between.
One that'll actually result in Snake exploding if you don't realise though, is character Revolver Ocelot planting a secret bomb amongst your things, during a torture segment. Once you're through this section and back to regular gameplay, it's super easy to not notice there's a timer counting down above a new "?" item in your inventory.
Thankfully you have half an hour in full to realise, with characters Deepthroat and Colonel Campbell eventually pointing it out.
What's more likely to kill you, is another time bomb you can accidentally pick up while swimming around Metal Gear Rex looking for a keycard later in the game. This one detonates after 30 seconds, and doesn't have any character dialogue pointing out you've scooped it up.
