2. Rime

This is perhaps the most imaginative trailer we've seen in years. The scope is breathtaking. The art style is the most enchanting use of cel-shading since Zelda. If Wind Waker was made by Team ICO, you might have something like Rime on your hands, and boy would we never wash our hands. "Open world gameplay," "dynamic puzzle solving," and a "unique control system" are the pillars of Tequila Works second project. Deadlight, a 3D, zombie apocalypse side-scroller set in 1980's Seattle, was an exclusive on Xbox 360's Live Arcade. It looks like Sony's partnerships with smaller studios are paying off. We all had fantasies as children; imaginary lands with magical rules and epic landscapes. Rime looks like a child's dream of a 3rd-person action platformer with the scope of Grand Theft Auto V. If Miyazaki made a Disney game, we would want it to be Rime. We wish everything was Rime, except...
