You likely knew they were coming, but just how much Anthem's "bosses" are carbon copies of Destiny's is deflating, to say the least. They even come with the same yellow life bars that take literally half an hour or so to deplete.

Regular weapons are of course tantamount to attacking with a harsh blow through a straw, and you're left plugging away at your target for far, FAR too long.

Fighting waves upon waves of enemies designed to overwhelm you through sheer numbers always leads to a death or two along the way as well. A zoomed-out rotating camera state where you're sat waiting for a revive, or waiting so you can respawn manually.

Again, it's the same overly grindy, unsatisfying gameplay that put millions off investing any time into Destiny, and though the combat mechanics themselves are solid, things like this almost cripple the entire experience.
