Assassin's Creed 2020: 8 Improvements Fans Need To See

8. Bring Back Legacy Costumes

One of the best features of Assassin's Creed, for long term fans of the series, was the ability to dress each protagonist in the robes of those you had previously played as (or watched, in the case of Aguilar).

However, rather unfortunately, this small quality of life element was lacking from the most recent entry, replaced instead by the lacklustre use of other assassins as lieutenants on the Adrestia.

Though, the last update to Odyssey has given us some hope. In it, you can now select the appearance of each piece of armour you wear from a selection of visuals gained through collecting the relevant items across your time playing the game.

This feature could be adapted into replacing the entirety of Alexios/Kassandra's outfit with that of the likes of Ezio or Bayek, similarly to the way that premiere skins work in Injustice 2 (as in keeping the stats of the gear you have equipped, while reimagining the character visually, usually into the form of another hero), and, in doing so, bring back one of the best elements of AC games gone by.
