2. You Can't Switch Characters On A Mission

A feature assumedly implemented to forgo hiccups when playing with friends, even if you're tackling missions solo, you can't change between any of the four characters present.

The decision seems doubly strange when certain parts of the levels are gated towards specific heroes - whether through grappling hooks and flight, or pathways only Hulk can attach to and leap from. It means you'll be returning to the same environments multiple times, just to hoover up crafting components or upgrades that you could've got first time through.

Having four sets of moves and combat options per mission would offset the repetition and tedium of combat too, but no.

Whoever you pick is who you're stuck with until the next mission screen.
