Scott Snyder's run as lead writer of DC's main Batman series has spawned some great storylines, including his first for the book which saw him introduce a brand new threat to Gotham City; a group of assassins led by the Court Of Owls. The Court Of Owls has secretly controlled Gotham for centuries, employing a group of assassins called Talons to murder and influence the city's politics in their favour. The whole premise is really interesting and it's definitely a storyline worth reading for any Bat fans. Honestly though, it's really unlikely that Rocksteady features the group in Arkham Knight - complexities aside, despite the distinctive Owl masks worn by the group, they aren't really a widely recognised set of villains yet. Still, even the slightest hint or nod towards the group's existence in the Arkham universe would drive comic fans wild; a neat way of handling this would be to have the nursery rhyme which references the group scrawled on a wall somewhere, perhaps serving as the solution to one of the Riddler's challenges. A confrontation between a Talon and Batman would be highly memorable (the extraordinary skillset of a Talon would push the Dark Knight to his limits) but a simple easter egg alluding to the group's presence in Gotham would be an awesome way for Rocksteady to give the Arkham universe an added modern flair.
