Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Things Fans Demand

Seriously Rocksteady, don't make us pay for the story.

As that June release date creeps ever closer and Rocksteady pepper the road ahead with trailers, controversial DLC plans and otherwise-phenomenal potential - it's making their final instalment in the franchise into a landmark release in every sense of the word. Arkham fans will remember the furore over the Catwoman DLC back in 2011, as she was offered as a supplementary character (assumedly being optional and non-essential to the campaign) yet when you got stuck in, the main thread of the story genuinely relies on Selina to save Bats' life. Hardly anything resembling optional then, all things considered. You want to believe Rocksteady learnt their lesson following the critical and cultural bashing they received because of this, but here we are for Arkham Knight and history repeats itself - except this time the asking price on additional content is $40 - two thirds of the retail price for an obscure Season Pass that they'd accept pre-orders for right away. People justifiably got very vocal in response, causing the team to come out and reveal a bit more about what's included - Batgirl for one, additional story missions with bonus villains and a host of skins to name three - but still, it's opened the floodgates of doubt to engulf this otherwise solid-looking title. DLC plans aren't the only thing up in the air though, as when looking at everything fans desire there's everything from a certain Clown Prince's return, to how Batmobile combat is going to feel and even how the newly-announced bonus heroes will factor into the story.
