Not happy about how a video game giant has treated you with their broken promises? Why not take them to court over their actions? BF3blog.com are reporting that a bunch of PlayStation 3 gamers are collectively getting together to sue Electronic Arts for not including Battlefield 1943 exclusively with Battlefield 3's release last month as promised as an extra incentive purchase by Sony back at E3. Law firm Edelson McGuire are behind the class action lawsuit for "making a promise they could not, and never intended, to keep" but it's not yet known how many PlayStation 3 owners are behind it. When Electronic Arts started to become aware of a backlash looming from those who had pre-ordered the game and were expecting their extra bundle, they decided to give gamers a week early access to the DLC but they never made it clear to users before the game was released that Battlefield 1943 wouldn't be included. A lawsuit against EA might seem extreme for being undoubtedly misled and I can't help but feel a better approach might be to just stop buying their products and hit them where it really hurts... their wallets.
