2. No Microtransactions Or Battlepacks

One of the most interesting tidbits discovered in the leak is that, unlike other games in EA's stable, Bad Company 3 won't feature any microtransactions.

Thanks in part to the response Battlefront 2 has received, it seems as though the publisher isn't keen to make the same mistake twice, opting to avoid any form of payment for loot boxes, skins or extraneous items that could otherwise be earned in-game.

That doesn't mean battlepacks are gone entirely, but there's a good chance random drops of any kind won't be a part of the upcoming sequel.

To those who said getting up in arms about Battlefront 2 wouldn't change anything, this is your proof that it has.
