Before GTA V: 10 Greatest Side Characters in GTA History

6. Lazlow Jones

Ah Lazlow. He€™s like an old friend, despite never actually appearing as a character model in-game. Lazlow, as you probably know, is a real person, an American radio personality who€™s intrinsically connected to the GTA franchise as a writer, producer and featured GTA radio DJ. Lazlow has featured as a radio host in every title since GTA III, in which he was a DJ€™s side-kick on VROCK; throughout the series€™ run since then it€™s actually possible to chart his rise to radio dominance, as well as his public fall from grace of course. It€™s essentially its own story buried deep within GTA lore. Lazlow is obnoxious, wildly egotistical, compulsive and sexually deviant but perhaps most importantly, he€™s very, very funny. Despite being fired several times for his repugnant behaviour, somehow, with each new GTA game released, he€™s managed to find work again. You can be damn sure that he€™ll have made his way to Los Santos for GTA V; I for one am excited to learn of his latest adventures in audio failure.
